• M. Damon Kindopp, PT has been with Physical Therapy Services since May of 1996. He was Clinical Director from May of 1999 until January of 2016. Damon became a partner with Sandra Ladd, PT in January 2000 at which time he also became the Vice-President. In January 2014, Damon assumed the role of President and in January 2016, he became partners with Shaun Barnes, MPT after Sandy Ladd, PT retired.

• He is an alumnus of the University of Saskatchewan where he graduated in 1990 with a B.Sc. in Anatomy with Distinction and in 1993 with a B.Sc. in Physical Therapy with Great Distinction. He practiced for two years in Edmonton, Alberta before moving to Keene, NH where he worked for one year at The Cheshire Medical Center.

• He has extensive postgraduate training in manual therapy through the Orthopedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Evidence in Motion and the Spinal Manipulation Institute. His special interests are orthopedic and sports physical therapy.

• Damon earned his Certification in Dry Needling in 2014 through The Spinal Manipulation Institute.

• He is an avid runner & hockey player/coach & he also enjoys working outdoors!

• Damon has been a member of the Brattleboro Sunrise Rotary Club since 2000 & he is also a member of Centre Congregational Church.

• Shaun Barnes, MPT joined our staff in February of 2007. Shaun is originally from Chicopee, MA and is a 2006 graduate of American International College in Springfield, MA. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with his Masters in Physical Therapy (MPT). He became Vice President & Clinical Director in January 2016 and also serves as our Privacy and Security Officer for our practice so if you have any concerns please share them with Shaun.

• Through internships and volunteer work, he has experienced a wide variety of professional settings. Shaun did his final 8-week student affiliation here in our facility in the fall of 2006 with Damon Kindopp, PT and was an outstanding student then and has proven to be a superb colleague today.

• He enjoys staying active through sports such as snow boarding, baseball (big Red Sox Fan!!) and basketball but he is always willing to give any sport a try!

• Shaun is an integral part of our team and develops personalized, effective treatment plans for his clients.

• JeanMarie Rodriguez, COTA, PTA is originally from Vermont being born in Burlington and even though she has lived in Keene NH for over 30 years she still have strong family ties to Vermont. She is a 2012 & 2014 graduate from River Valley Community College. In 2012 she graduated as an Occupational Therapy Assistant with an Associate’s Degree in Science and after taking her national exam she earned her certification as an OTA. In 2014 she graduated as a Physical Therapist Assistant with an Associate’s Degree in Science. She graduated both degrees with Magna Cum Laude and is also a member of Phi Theta Kappa the National Honor Society for the two year college.

• Through her past work experiences she came to realize her love for working with individuals of all ages. Her past work experiences and clinical rotations have given her the skills required to work with individuals of varying physical and cognitive needs. She had the opportunity of doing her 2nd 8 week clinical rotation here at PTSB in the winter of 2014 where she was able to expand and work intensely on her manual therapy skills. She continues to work per diem as a PTA in a small pediatric out-patient PT practice as well as a COTA in a small private out- patient pediatric OT practice in Keene.

• She enjoys traveling, camping, reading and spending time with her family.

• JeanMarie works closely with our Physical Therapists to help them effectively carry out a personalized, effective treatment plan.

 

Lori Hughes, Office Manager

• Lori Hughes joined our practice in April 2010 and is our OFFICE MANAGER. She came to us with an extensive background in the banking industry having worked for Key Bank for many years.

• Lori’s responsibilities include scheduling patients, sending out insurance claims, posting payments, researching insurance claims for re-billing, doing collections and helping market our services to our community.

• She oversees the claims process with insurance carriers and works with our clients if they should happen to encounter any problems.

• She works diligently to ensure that the collections process is a last resort and is available to help clients get their claims paid and their statements explained!
